Cebuano jins to vie in World Junior Championships

Cebu’s National Team members Nica Garces and Sal Luji Estrada will compete in the 2016 World Taekwondo Junior Championships slated Nov. 16 to 20 in Burnaby, Canada.

Garces and Estrada, who will be competing in the prestigious tournament for the first time, will try to help the Philippines against some of the best jins in the world.

The Philippines has never won a gold medal in the tournament. Its best finish so far was a silver.
