THE Lycans of Charles Aballe had to go through two overtime periods before dispatching MB Scalar of Benidick Bandala and Jim Alima, 81-78, in the ongoing 3rd Randall Cap at the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) lower court.
Karl Adolfo led the way for the Lycans with with 20 markers, while Jesse Montesclaros added 16.
Christopher Rey Caruana finished with a game-high 25 markers but his efforts went to naught as MB Scalar crashed to its first loss in the tournament.
In the other game, Devirative of James Ylaya pulled nipped Uratex of Lindsey Leal, 65-63, to remain undefeated after 3 games.
Peter Ceniza paced Devirative with 13 points.
Ian Mingoy led Uratex with 18 markers.
Also scoring a win was the CY Boys All-Star of Manny Earl Ching, which dismantled winless Homeboys Avenue of Paul Cabuncag, 58-45.
