AN alleged robber, fraternity leader and drug pusher was gunned down by unidentified persons at past 6 p.m. on Thursday in Barangay Cansaga, Consolacion town, northern Cebu.

Mac Cyrus Angeles, 20, of Barangay Lamac, Consolacion, died on the spot after sustaining gunshot wounds in the body.

Senior Insp. William Homoc, chief of Consolacion Police Station, said the victim was a new addition to their drug watch list but has long been known as a leader of a local fraternity called Agawon.

Police have yet to identify the perpetrators and the real motive of the incident.

In Barangay Tawason, Mandaue City, four persons were caught by the police in the act of inhaling shabu inside a car yesterday dawn.

Chief Insp. Aldrin Villacampa said they received a call regarding a group of men allegedly having a shabu session inside a car. Villacampa said they immediately proceeded to the area, but the four men scampered in different directions after sensing the presence of policemen. The police, however, were able to catch them after a brief chase. Those arrested were Niño Rey Doncillo, Noli Rafil, Stephen Igot and Bob Ylanan.
