JASON “El Niño” Pagara easily defeated Nicaraguan former world champion Jose Alfaro in the co-main event of Pinoy Pride 39: Road To Redemption at the Cebu Coliseum.

Pagara connected solid body shots that floored Alfaro halfway through the first round.

Pagara earned his 40th win and 25th knockout victory along with two losses as he remained number one in the WBO lightweight division.

Alfaro suffered his 11th loss. He has 28 wins, 24 by knockouts.
