THE BOGO City cagers defended their homecourt as they chalked up back-to-back wins in the Cebu Friendship Invitational Basketball Tournament 2016 over the weekend at the Don Celestino Martinez Coliseum in Bogo City, northern Cebu.

Last Saturday, Bogo defeated Malaysia’s Sarawak Eagles, 76-65, then sustained the momentum by edging out the University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors last Sunday, 88-86.

Sporting a league-leading 2-0 (win-loss) card, Bogo looks to stay unbeaten when it plays the SG/ARQ Builders at 6:30 tonight at the Cebu Coliseum.

The Builders started their campaign with a 97-86 win over the Warriors (0-2) last Saturday at the Cebu City Sports Institute (CCSI) in Barangay Sawang Calero, Cebu City.

As of this writing, SG/ARQ (1-0) was playing Sarawak Men’s Team (0-1), also at the Cebu Coliseum.

In the Under-17 category division, the University of Cebu (UC) Baby Webmasters pocketed win number two by dumping the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu-Team B Magis Eagles (0-3), 98-61, last Sunday at the CCSI.

With a clean 2-0 slate, UC already has an inside track of making it to the championship round. The Baby Webmasters try to formalize their entry to the final round when they play Sarawak U17 (1-0) at 5 p.m. today at the above-mentioned venue.

Sarawak was playing against the Don Bosco Technology Center Greywolves (1-1) as of press time last night.
