CEBUANO Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Vaughn “The Spawn” Donayre tries to recover in the One Championship as he faces Dutch Vincent “Magnivincent” Latoel in the undercard of the Quest for Power card on Jan. 14 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Donayre, who is now based in Dubai, UAE, is looking to snap out of a slump as he has lost his last three fight in the One Championship for a MMA record of 8-6-0 (win-loss-draw). He lost his last fight by submission against Singaporean Amir Khan last Nov. 11 in Singapore.

The Cebuano will be taking on a more experienced Latoel, who holds a record of 16 wins, 18 losses and two draws. Latoel is also trying to get back on the winning track as he lost his last two bouts against formidable foes. He got defeated by Filipino Edward Kelly last August in another One Championship card after losing to title contender Kotetsu Boku of Japan last February. Both his defeats were knockouts.

Another Filipino MMA fighter will be featured in the fight card that will feature Vitaly Bigdash of Russia defending his One Championship middleweight title against Polish Marcin Prachnio.

Filipino Rene “D” Challenger” Catalan will be fighting Indonesian Adrian Matheis in the straw weight division.

Catalan has just one victory against two losses and a draw.
