Allow me wish you all a Merry Christmas.
It is a time to show our appreciation to the kindness of our Savior by loving, adoring, worshiping and thanking him for all the blessings that he showered us and will continue to shower us.
I love you, Lord Jesus, for you have been kind and generous to me. As a matter of fact, Christmas came early for me because God has gifted me with good and better health. God has provided me with good and patient doctors especially those who took care of my kidneys — Doctors Licuanan, Ophelia Buot and Dr. Quiza. I am so lucky to have these doctors, and I thank the Lord God for his guidance.

Last Sunday, Christmas Day, we the Rama-Limchiu family had our traditional family reunion attended by our close relatives.
The Rama children made the occasion very special as many of them showed us their talents in singing and dancing. Mike Rama delivered a speech that touched, inspired and challenged many of us into contributing to the betterment of our beloved city.
Mike informed us that the present city administration has been looking for graft and corruption during his administration, but they could not find any since he was so careful not to commit any wrongdoing during his term as mayor.
Mayor Mike also emphasized that contrary to the accusation of his detractors, he was never a protector of the illegal drug trade in the city and is never an addict as proven by the result of his urine and hair follicle tests.

By the way, while we were having the party in the compound, we could not help but smell the stench of the garbage that was still dumped at the South Road Properties (SRP) despite the cease and desist order from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Mayor Tom has declared he is going to defy the DENR order and will continue to dump the garbage at SRP. Mayor Tom refuses to dump the garbage at the Consolacion landfill, alleging that it was done by the previous administration without a contract and therefore anomalous. But so far, no evidence was presented to that effect.
Councilor Joel Garganera, on the other hand, found out that the Mandaue City and Lapu-Lapu City are also dumping their garbage at the Consolacion landfill, paying a tipping fee at the same amount as that the City of Cebu used to pay. Garganera informed me that the court has advised the administration of Osmeña to renegotiate for the dumping of garbage at the Consolacion landfill.
I am hoping that Osmeña will reconsider dumping the city’s garbage at SRP because it has affected the SRP locators and the neighboring barangays.
