MARK Panerio led the Panthers to the crown of the first season of the Elite Basketball Club – Talisay last Sunday at the Vista Grande Gym in Bulacao.
Panerio, named the Finals MVP, drained 26 points to help the Panthers slay the Dragons, 108-98, in the championship game.
Joseph Areja backed Panerio with 16 markers while Gabriel Estores added 14.
Daryl Villarante and Kyle Esbra combined for 48 points in a losing effort for the Dragons.
Prince Malana of the Stallions, meanwhile, took home the season MVP and scoring champion honors while Panther Jundy Dimitiman was awarded Defensive Player of the Season.
The Falcons’ Joirene Salcedo won the 3-point King Award.
