CEBU Parklane International Hotel is hosting a cultural art exhibit showcasing the masterpieces of the Cebu Artists Inc. to support children suffering from different types of cancer diseases.

The art exhibit was launched on February 20 and will be open to guests until March 3. It features acrylic paintings of Cebu’s finest sceneries such as the Magellan’s Cross and the well-known churches and houses in Cebu.

Other paintings also include abstract art of flora and fauna that were put together by members of the Cebu Artists Inc. led by Guido-Ann Lubanga and Dante Luzon.

The Cancer Warriors Foundation, Inc., which is the beneficiary of the exhibit, caters to 120 children with pediatric cancers including leukemia, which is a prevalent type of cancer among children.

The proceeds of the exhibit will be used to supply medicines and treatment for the children.

Visit the lobby of Cebu Parklane International Hotel to view the art exhibit or call 234-7000 for more information.
