Farmacia Zamora Strikers lead after first round

THE FARMACIA Zamora Strikers were off to a sizzling start in the first round of the 9th Alberto’s Pizza Invitational Bowling Tournament at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center last Friday.

The five-man team of the Farmacia Zamora Strikers finished the first round with 2,531 pinfalls, off scores of 849 in the opening game, 795 in the second and 887 in the third game. The 887 was the tournament’s highest so far.

Farmacia Zamora Strikers is composed of Celis Viloria, Maeng Viloria, Noel Marquez, Manny Bueno and Boy Gacho.

OPASCOR managed to place second with 2,486 pinfalls while the Dream Team is at third place with 2,461.

The Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA)-organized bowling tournament will run until March 24.

The tournament will have four rounds with the second round set on March 10 at the same venue.
