DPWH kept its unbeaten record intact with a 77-71 win over FD Cebu in the Urban Basketball League – ASPA CUP 2017 last weekend at the City Sports Club Cebu basketball court.
Rhendy Alferez once again led the squad with a double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds as DPWH hiked their record up to 6-0 (win-loss) while sending FD Cebu to an even 3-3.
In other matches, Stay Fit notched their sixth win in eight games with a 77-64 rout of Cold 45. RJ Mangubat scored 22 markers even as Anton Solon lorded over the glass with 16 rebounds. Colt 45 fell to 3-4 in the competition.
Finally, MDC grabbed a 77-69 win over Autocentral as Martin Tabones exploded for 32 points to help his team improve to 3-4. Andelo Eyas had 31 points and 16 rebounds but it wasn’t enough to prevent Autocentral from falling to 2-4.
