The University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) defeated Southwestern University (SWU), 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, to win the high school girls title of the Inter Private Volleyball tournament on Sunday at the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Basak Open Gym.

Middle blocker Kirstin Louise Ojeda came up big late in the game as she scored eight points in the third set alone to help USPF complete the come-fom-behind win.

The Baby Panthers were down 1-7 in the third before they ignited a 15-9 run capped off by a thunderous spike by Ojeda that tied the game at 16. USPF finished off SWU with another 9-4 run.
