Malditas dominate Singapore to make AFF semis

THE Philippines Malditas Under-15 squad silenced Singapore, 3-0, last Saturday to advance to the semifinal round of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U-15 Girls Championships in Vientiane, Laos.

Scoring for the Malditas were Arianna LePage, Myria Garcia and Viviana Artina Cera.

With three wins in the bag, the Malditas now have nine points to lead Group B. Trailing the Malditas are Cambodia with four points, Singapore with three points and Indonesia with one point.

In Group A, Thailand leads the pack with nine points followed by Myanmar with six points and Laos with three points. Malaysia and Vietnam have yet to win a game.

The last remaining matches in Group A were being played as of press time. The results will determine the teams that will play in the crossover semifinals.
