COLOR BLIND?

Security guards especially those assigned in parking areas of commercial buildings should not wear sunglasses. This was an irritated driver’s suggestion after a security guard doubted his answer when the guard asked about the color of his car at the parking area. Knowing that the guard saw him park his silver-colored car at the parking area, he impatiently told the guard to take off his sunglasses and take a second look at the color of his car if he still doubted him.

LOUD WIVES TOO?

With the approval of the implementation of the Anti-Distracted Driving Law, some netizens added a little spin of humor to this latest traffic rule development. One netizen, who is a husband, wanted the law to also ban loud wives who pick on their husbands who is driving their car.

“Dapat sad ang mga bungangera na asawa kay apilon anang Anti-Distracted Driving Law kay saba kaayo ni sila dili ta ka focus og drive. Or dili na lang pakuyogon (They should include in the Anti-Distracted Driving Law the banning of loud wives who pick on their husbands who are driving. These wives can be a distraction to their husbands’ driving and can make them lose focus while driving. One way around this, though, is not to bring along their partners in their vehicles),” the netizen said in jest.

A QUESTION OF IMPLEMENTATION

How can the Anti-Distracted Driving Law be implemented? A concerned citizen asked after the driver of a transport network vehicle services (TNVS) answered his cell phone while he was driving, with the concerned citizen as his passenger. The TNVS passenger could only shake his head and wonder how the authorities can effectively implement this new traffic law.
