Dynacast on a roll

THE 2001 Dynacast extended its impressive winning streak to seven games with a 67-41 demolition of the 1993 King Properties in Division B of the 22nd Sacred Heart Ateneo Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Basketball Tournament Powered by Common Ground last weekend at the Magis Eagles Arena.

Josef Reoma put up 16 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals, Justin Osmeña had 11 markers and four steals, while Erwin Ngo added 10 points, three boards, two assists and three steals to help down Batch 1993.

Jason Arquisola also pitched in all-around numbers of nine points, 13 boards, four assists, two steals and a blocked shot to bring Dynacast closer to a sweep of the elimination round with just three games to go.

King Properties dropped to 2-5.

In other games, 2002 San Remigio Properties routed the 1994 Filmon, 66-47, to raise their record to 4-2, and bring Filmon down to 1-5.

Reno Gelaga led San Remigio Properties’ onslaught with 10 points and four assists while Edmund Gaisano filled the stat sheet up with nine points, four rebounds, six assists and five steals.

1995 Savers Depot also claimed a 69-64 win over the 1996 White Gold Club for their fourth win in seven games. Ian Ong had 25 points, six boards, three assists and three steals to power Batch 1995 to the win.
