ROADSTAR continued to run over the rest of the field after they dispatched of the Northern Star/JPC’s Motorparts and Accessories, 75-66, in the Cebu Eastern College Alumni Basketball League last weekend at the CEC gym.
Michael Balankig helped Roadstar get their fifth win in as many games as he scored 23 points, while Bernard Aves added 16. Mark Bacho scored 14 while Steven Etom chipped in 11 to buoy Roadstar to the win.
In other games, BCP Lubricants and Juice Boost rose up the ranks as they bested their respective opponents.
BCP Lubricants downed Dimsum Frito, 70-58, while Juice Boost edged Dewfoam in overtime, 84-76.
BCP Lubricants and Juice Boost are now in a three-way tie for second place with the idle Family Appliance.
Kent Uy led BCP Lubricants with 15 points while Jesse Magno led five scorers in double-figures for Juice Boost, with 22 markers.
Mang Ondo, meanwhile, snatched its first win of the tournament with a 75-51 rout of Interpace Computer System.
Rex Millan scored 27 to put Mang Ondo in the win column and tie their victims in the standings at 1-3 (win-loss).
