DRUG REHAB
NETIZENS applauded Argao town’s community drug rehabilitation program that took in more than 500 surrenderers.
Facebook user Kyna Ceniza said, “This program is really good, especially those who can’t afford to be in private rehabilitation centers. This one is closer to the community, too. I hope they fulfill their vows.”
Allan Bucao commented, “This number is just in Ronda. What would happen if all the towns bring in the drug surenderees? I wonder if the whole Cebu will be doing something like this. Will we finally be able to see that the drug problem is rampant.?”
Alan Schmidt, meanwhile, expressed doubt that these drug surrenderers will totally change. “I bet my money to the possibility of them going back to how they used to live. I’ve seen this scenario before, but I want to hope.”
Reyx Jam also said, “The chief of police in Ronda, I think, has not done anything yet on the war on drugs in Ronda. I hope he acts now. Arrest those drug lords.”
