THE Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Cebu Chapter will kick off its Olympics Fest 2017 today in celebration of their annual Law Week.

IBP Cebu president Mundlyn Misal-Martin said in a press conference at the Knight Attack Chess Cafe in Robinsons Galleria Cebu last Friday that this year’s sportsfest will mark the first time to have non-lawyer participants.

It will also be the first time in 13 years for IBP Cebu to have a multi-sporting event in their yearly celebration.

Their first shooting competition, a level-1 Philippine Practical Shooting Association (PPSA) sanctioned match, will take place today at the Kamagong Gun Club Shooting Range.

The bowling and billiard events are slated tomorrow at the SM City Cebu Bowling and Leisure Center while the badminton competition will take place on Sept. 23 at the Metro Sports Center in Lahug.

The basketball event will run from Sept. 21-23 at the Capitol Parish Gym while chess, which is open only to Class-B players, will be at the Knight Attack Chess Cafe in Robinsons Galleria Cebu on Sept. 24.
