THINGS are set to get tougher from here on for Southwestern University (SWU)-Phinma as it faces a must-win game against the University of Mindanao – Davao (UM-D) in the Philippine University Games men’s volleyball tournament today in Dumaguete City.
This after the Spiking Cobras suffered a 25-21, 25-21, 25-21, loss to Arellano University yesterday to drop to 1-1 (win-loss) in the standings.
SWU-Phinma, which blasted Foundation University in its opening match, 25-22, 25-14, 25-11, must win against UM-D today and De La Salle University (DLSU) on Thursday to advance to the knockout quarterfinals.
