SUPPORT FOR LIQUOR BAN
Netizens agreed to Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmena’s move to prohibit liquor and street parties along the Sinulog 2018 routes.
A netizen named Tom Hunkz commented, “I agree, It’s really that simple, if you want to drink, then drink elsewhere. The Sinulog isn’t a venue for being rowdy & drunk & it’s been proven that no one drinks ‘moderately’ during this event.”
Lean Linx commented, “Sinulog is not about drinking and partying. You can do that at home or somewhere nga di mo maka hasul sa uban.”
Janice Najabelen also commented, “I agree with the local government in prohibiting liquor and street partying this upcoming Sinulog 2018 simply because to control and establish peace and order during the celebration.”
