IS HER reported pregnancy the reason why Ellen Adarna failed to show up at the “Bench Under the Stars” fashion show last Saturday?
As in the past years, the Cebuana sexy actress’ turn at the catwalk was one of most anticipated segments but she was not around during the event, igniting rumors that she is with child.
A report by ABS-CBN confirmed that Adarna was indeed absent from the show, after the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP) released a report about Adarna’s rumored pregnancy.
Although the source was not named, PEP said the actress had confided about her “delicate pregnancy” to her close friends in at least two occasions.
The PEP story also said that the father of Adarna’s child is actor John Lloyd Cruz.
Adarna was expected to be one of the participants in the fashion show as she had been actively promoting it on her social media accounts. Last October 25, she posted a promotional video of the runway event on her Instagram account.
“@benchtm #benchunderthestars #bench30years,” she captioned her Instagram post.
Other celebrities seen in the promotional video were Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff, Dominic Roque and Tom Rodriguez.
On the same day, Adarna posted a photo of her Bench billboard beside Heussaff’s.
“Hello Philippines and hi Sos! @benchbody X @benchtm,” she said.
Prior to that, she and Cruz had spent time out of the country since the first week of October.
They visited Morocco, Switzerland and France.
The romance of Adarna and Cruz became news fodder during their trip in Bantayan Island, Cebu in September this year. Netizens feasted on videos and photos of Cruz flashing the dirty finger sign, singing along to karaoke, and sitting next to a Gasul tank.
