Netizens were outraged on seeing photos of a woman’s bruised corpse on Facebook that was later identified to be overseas Filipino worker Liezl Trus Hukdong.
Manny Roa wrote, “Stop sending our people as slaves and maids overseas. Stop corruptions now.”
A netizen named Lizzah Gimpayan said, “Hala kalooy intawn … magduda pod ta nga gituyo na ug patay. Grabe gibaligya siguro na iyang (She is pitiful, one can suspect that she was killed. It’s terrible, they may have sold her) internal organs.”
Another netizen, Mike Godinez said, “Nahalin na ang kidney looya sa Pinoy. (The kidney may have been sold. Pinoys are very pitiful).”
