Man stabbed, suspect on the loose in Cebu City

25-year-old Jeffrey Miñoza was stabbed by an unidentified suspect in Sitio Paradise 2, Barangay Kasambagan, Cebu City on Friday evening.

Police investigation showed that the victim was about to visit his aunt’s house when a lone man approached and asked him to identify a certain person.

When Miñoza responded failed to identify, the suspect stabbed his left shoulder.

The victim was immediately rushed to Cebu City Medical Center by his brother.

According to SPO1 Winston Ybañez, police homicide investigator, they are now looking at personal grudge as the motive of the stabbing incident.
