CEBUANO Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Roel “Akiyama” Rosauro faltered in his first international fight and One Championships debut Friday night as he lost to Chinese Li Kai Wen in their featherweight showdown of One Championship: Quest for Gold at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar.

Li scored a quick submission victory against Rosauro of YawYan ArDigma Cebu via a guillotine choke at the 43-second mark of the opening round.

Li dictated the fight right at the opening bell with crunching kicks and punches against Rosauro of Camotes Island. The Cebuano attempted a takedown but instead got grappled by Li who has a reputable wrestling background.

Li then pinned Rosauro against the cage and was able to execute the guillotine choke to claim his seventh victory with four losses while the latter suffered his third defeat with five wins.
