EVERYONE is challenged to think way out of the box and explore the endless possibilities that their curious minds can bring them.

Curiosity breaks boundaries, and can even take you places; which is the reason why Lee headed to Cebu to take part in the recent grand Sinulog festivities.

The Lee DIY Denim Craftsmanship Workshop first made a buzz on October 16 last year. Works of the chosen Manila creatives were featured on display at the Lee Denim Exhibit during Philippine Fashion Week on October 25 last year.

With the celebration of Sinulog and for being one of the key cities of the country, Lee sets its sights on Cebu to host the second leg of The Lee DIY Denim Workshop.
Last Jan. 18 at The Penthouse, Lee joined in the fun and invited Cebu brand influencers with some members of the media to reinvent the look of the classic Lee original.

Web Development Manager Doyle See took his digital works and placed it on clothing inspired by comic book artworks and old horror movie posters.

Uzi Emperado found inspiration in heavy metal music and translates this artistry into graphic design and large-scale murals. Mique Yapching is no beginner in producing innovative design having presented the country during 2011 Star

Creation Fashion Design Competition held in Singapore.

Nick Automatic’s artistic vision earned him multiple awards earning it enough reputation as sought-after lifestyle brand in the country as well as Southeast Asia.

Celebrity stylist and contributing fashion editor, Andre Chang, was also tapped to provide his artistic flair for fashion to customize Lee’s heritage product. With the impressive DIY Denim Creations from Manila, we are definitely curious as to what Cebu has to offer.

The event was hosted by Miss Earth 2008 and Sinulog Queen 2009, Karla Henry. Providing the soundtrack for the event was he Mixtress of Manila’s clubbing scene Nina Saputil.

This year is the celebration of Lee’s 125 years of Craftsmanship and the brand joins the local festivities to celebrate the unwavering curiosity for denim innovation.
