AROUND a hundred riders across the Visayas and Mindanao will test their mettle in the MS Motosuit-presented 20th Ornopia Cup motocross competition on April 15 in barangay Camlabua, San Remigio town, northern Cebu.
MS Motosuit top honcho Lou Ornopia said aspiring and veteran riders are expected to join the race, which boasts of a specially designed race course in Calambua that is of international standards.
“Just like in our past events, I’m expecting a huge turnout of entries again,” said Ornopia.
Local motocross daredevils will be challenged by daredevils from Leyte, Dumaguete, and Bohol in the one-day tilt that is among the highlights of Calambua’s annual fiesta celebration in honor of their patron, San Vicente Ferrer.
The categories in the one-day event are pro open, expert, peewee 50cc and 65cc and mini 85cc, beginners, local enduro, open enduro, executive A, B and C, novice, and intermediate.
