Mandaue, Lapu drug ops yielded nearly P500k shabu
Almost half a million peso worth of shabu were seized in separate drug operations in Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu cities.
Cheryl Bajo, 36, and Justin Labor, 23, was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Suba-Masulog Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City on Sunday dawn.
Chief Insp. Mark Gifter Sucalit, chief of City Intelligence Branch of Lapu-Lapu City Police Office, said that they confiscated P303,260 worth of suspected shabu from the suspects.
At past 7 a.m Sunday, Randy Eyas, who is on the police drug watch list, 30; Josue Mag-usara, 39, Elton John Polar, 23, was arrested in a drug-bust operation in Barangay Mactan.
P54,000 worth of suspected shabu were seized from the three suspects, says Chief Insp. Wayne Magbanua, the chief of Mactan police station.
Meanwhile, the authorities confiscated more than 10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P1500,000 from ten drug personalities in Mandaue City.
Chief Insp. Genilo Veraque of MCPO Station 2 said that the arrested persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations and checkpoints in the city.
