Pre-trial on Cebu City garbage tipping fees set
The Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 159 in Parañaque City scheduled the dates for the pre-trial between Cebu City Hall and the Asian Energy Systems Corp. on the unpaid garbage tipping fees worth P32 million.
The court also required both parties to bring their respective statements of willingness to enter into an amicable settlement, supporting documents and the number of witnesses for the trial.
The P32 million in tipping fees owed by Cebu City to the landfill operator in Consolacion town covered the March to August 2016 period.
The notice also compelled both parties to attend a preliminary conference on the case on Friday, April 20 in the same court.
