The discovery of illegal drugs and contraband during a surprise inspection at the Mandaue City Jail on Thursday morning, June 21 upset a lot of netizens.
Fred Riveral Rosel wrote, “What this means is. there is corruption everywhere! Am not sure if anyone can erradicate corruption in the country. It’s a bit like drugs, you get rid of users and pushers today, they’d be replaced with fresh ones the following day. Can there be an end to it?”
