Osmeña to assist family of child killed in drug bust
Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña vowed to help the family of Blaker Skyler Abatayo, a four-year-old child who was a casualty in a drug operation in Barangay Ermita, Cebu City on Tuesday afternoon (July 10).
In a post on his Facebook page, Osmeña said he visited the family of Abatayo, together with Senior Supt. Royina Garma, Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) director .
“Col. Garma will handle the investigation; my role is purely humanitarian. I have assured the family that all expenses related to the wake and burial will be taken cared of,” said Osmeña.
“We can even look for funding for family members who want to visit from out of town. It is the least we can do,” he added.
