To address the traffic in Talamban, the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) has deployed its Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) in the area on Tuesday (August 7).

Senior Supt. Royina Garma said she believed the BPAT can help traffic enforcers man the traffic.

“Since one of our problems dito sa siyudad is ang traffic, we need to mobilize the organized teams sa mga barangay,” said Garma.

Around 40 members of BPAT were deployed within the jurisdiction of Talamban police station, particularly along streets near the schools and churches in the area.

“I hope this will work well, and we need the support from the barangays, especially the support from the barangay captains,” Garma added. / USJR Intern Gerard Francisco
