RANDY Pellerin flirted with a triple-double as he led the Vel-Pal Barakos past the Primary Builders, 84-74, in the Metro Cebu Basketball League held last weekend at the City Sports Club-Cebu basketball court.
Pellerin scored 24 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and issued eight assists to offset the incredible 42-point outing of Primary Builders’ forward Ariel Armenion.
In other games, Dale Cabales collected 20 points in the Hoopsters’ 88-76 win over VCSGM.
Christian Guinita also posted a solid all-around outing with 15 points, nine boards and five steals to lead Unknown over the Ace of Spades, 69-66.
Christian Panilag also scored 28 markers to pace the Black Eagles in their 86-60 rout of Southside while Al Rogen had 17 points, six boards and three steals in the New Blood’s 91-55 destruction of the Penguins.
