Court postpones arraignment of suspects in kidnapping Gisela’s friend
The arraignment for the six suspects of the kidnapping and serious illegal detention filed by Angela Leyson, the friend of the late Bien Unido Mayor Gisela Boniel, has been moved to October 4.
Judge Jose Nathaniel Andal of Cebu City Regional Trial Court Branch 22 rescheduled the arraignment after a defense counsel manifested that the suspects were already arraigned in Talibon, Bohol.
The case was transferred to a family court in Cebu City since Leyson’s son, who was allegedly abducted with her, is a minor.
