Pedicab driver arrested for selling drugs in Cebu City

A pedicab driver in Barangay Sawang Calero, Cebu City was collared in a buy-bust operation by the Parian police station on Tuesday morning (August 21).

The arrested person was identified as Julito Gavas, 31, and a resident of Barangay Sawang Calero.

Seized from Gavas were one medium and 18 small sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P18,000; cash money worth P2,500 believed to be proceeds of the drug trade; and one .38 caliber revolver with live ammunition.

Police Insp. Emmanuel Lumancas, deputy precinct commander said that they have received a report of the alleged illegal drug activities of Gavas.
