THE ACCENTURE Sharks stayed unbeaten while reigning champions Convergys Converters and the QBE Generals snapped out of their losing skids in the Elite Classic division of the 2018 Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball last Saturday at the City Sports Club-Cebu basketball court.

The Sharks tallied their sixth win in a row with an 80-60 demolition job of the Sykes Pioneers.

Jetro Gonzaga led the Sharks with 15 points, five rebounds and three steals while Archie Batua had 14 markers.

The loss wasted away Janjan Auditor’s 30-point explosion for the Pioneers.

In another game in the Elite Classic division, QBE finally got their first win in four games, beating the ePerformax Reds, 74-72.

Johnrey Girasol was sensational, piling up 30 points to help QBE get over the hump in their first season in the Elite Classic division after winning the Evo League title last year.

Convergys, meanwhile, got back on the winning track with an 85-75 win over the Telstra Boomerangs.

Jaime Pacquiao led four Converters that reached double figures with 18 points, six rebounds and four assists as Convergys evened its record to 3-3 (win-loss).

Jay-R Bulangis added 14 while Admir Batiancila chipped in 13 to send Telstra down to their eighth straight loss. The Boomerangs have yet to win a single game this season.
