A newly-born baby found was found alive at a garbage site in Sitio San Carlos, Barangay Marigondon in Lapu-Lapu City at past 9 a.m. on Monday (September 24).
Riza Godornez, a barangay health worker, said a woman on board a motorcycle informed them that a baby was abandoned at the area.
Godornez said her co-worker found the infant inside a bag. The baby was then brought to Lapu-Lapu City Hospital.
