BIG Yellow Boxing Gym’s Cris Ganoza is looking for a comeback win when he takes on Ernesto Alera in an eight-round non-title duel on October 13 at the Sabang Gym in Danao City, north Cebu.

The fight will be the main event of a fight card promoted by Big Yellow Boxing Gym and River Lee Boxing Promotions.

The 24-year-old Ganoza (15-2-0, 8KOs) of Matalom, Leyte, is coming off a loss to John Michael Zulueta via split decision in a fight for the vacant Asian Boxing Federation (ABF) minimumweight title in Bacolod City last June 30.

He will be facing a 23-year-old Alera (5-5-1), who is from Murcia, Negros Occidental.

Also, featured in the fight card is Taiwanese Ming Hung Lee, who represents Big Yellow Boxing Gym. He will be facing Wilfredo Rota.

The unbeaten 29-year-old Taiwanese boxer holds a record of six wins with four knockouts.

Their showdown will be a four-rounder non title bout which will serve as the co-main event of the fight card.

According to Big Yellow Boxing Gym’s chief trainer and matchmaker Christopher “Ping-ping” Tepora, Lee has been training in Big Yellow Gym located in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City for the past two months.

Completing the list of fights are: George Medillo Jr. of Medellin versus Jusue Bastillada of Toledo, and Romy Baisa of Big Yellow Boxing Gym versus Danao City’s Mikey Durano.
