The Philippine International Seafreight Forwarders Association – Cebu Chapter Inc. will be holding the 1st General Membership Meeting and induction of officers and new members set on July 4 (Friday) at Casino Espanol de Cebu, Granada Function Room at 6:30 PM.
PISFA (Cebu Chapter) Outgoing President Miguel Laurari will present the President’s Report of the accomplishments under his administration. This year, he will turn-over the Presidency to Carmel de Pio-Salvador, Managing Director of Global Carrier Phils., Inc. to be witnessed by Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry President Ms. Ma. Teresa Chan; Mandaue Chamber of Commerce & Industry President Jeruel Roa; and officials from PISFA Manila, Department of Trade & Industry, Philippine Shippers Bureau, Cebu Port Authority, Bureau of Customs and OPASCOR.
Philippine Shippers Bureau Usec. Victorio Mario Dimagiba was also invited to be the Guest Speaker and Inducting Officer of PISFA (Cebu Chapter) Board of Directors. Meanwhile, Department of Trade & Industry Regional Director Aster Caberte will induct the new members.
International and Domestic forwarders who are not yet accredited with PISFA (Cebu Chapter) are encouraged to activate their membership and join the upcoming General Membership meeting as we discuss important industry updates. The Annual Membership fee is P2,500. Each PISFA member company is entitled to one (1) complimentary attendee. For every additional participant, there will be an assessment fee of Php600 per person.
