Waterfront police have already identified the suspect in the killing of a 23-year-old student who was stabbed to death in Barangay Tinago, Cebu City.

The body of Charie Mae Mancia was found in her rented room early morning on Sunday, November 4.

Senior Insp. Joemar Pomarejos, Waterfront Police chief, said that witnesses have surfaced and pointed at Emilito Pamiliar as the suspect in Mancia’s murder.

Pomarejos said that Pamiliar may have robbed Macia before killing her.

He said that a witness saw Pamiliar leave the victim’s rented house prior to the discovery of her dead body.

Pamiliar was earlier detained for robbery and was released from detention in August.
