The Mandaue City government has proposed a P2.4 billion budget for 2019.

City Treasurer and Lawyer Regal Olivia said the proposed budget is lesser that this year’s allocation which was P4.7 billion.

Apart from that, the city also increased their tax revenue with P2.06 billion as of Nov. 15.

Olivia said they are targeting to collect P2.1 billion before the year ends, higher than last year’s tax collection with only P1.8 billion.
