CEBU CITY, Philippines – Members of the Wonju Dynamic Dancing Carnival in South Korea will now be joining the Sinulog grand parade on January 20, 2019.

Councilor Dave Tumulak, the overall chairperson of the Sinulog executive committee, said that the Korean dancers have expressed their desire to dance along the six-kilometer carousel route.

“They are here to showcase their culture and we would just like to request the public to please refrain from taking selfies while they perform, or any acts that will interrupt their performance,” Tumulak said.

Members of the Korean delegation will also be making dance offerings for the Cebuano committee at the Plaza Independencia on the eve of January 20 and at the Fuente Osmeña circle on the eve of January 19.

Performers from the Wonju Dynamic Dancing Carnival are expected to arrive in Cebu on January 16 and fly back to South Korea on January 21.

The Wonju Dynamic Dancing Carnival is the first foreign contingent to join in the Sinulog.
