CEBU CITY, Philippines–Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) President Virgilio Espeleta urged member companies to become agile and innovative to prevent possible disruptions in their operations.

He said that there has to be change in the approach in doing business.

“Yes , we live in a time when the pace of change is faster than one can anticipate,” said Espeleta.

To help members prepare for a changing business environment, Espeleta said, Cebu Chamber would be coming up with holistic programs to sustain businesses against disruption.

The CCCI platform will focus on values creation, unity of aspiration and purpose, convergence and collaboration, and advocacy on prosperity for all, he added.

According to Espeleta, Cebu Chamber can push for inclusive growth by linking its members in each other’s value chain.

Under this thrust, big member companies will be encouraged to buy from smaller member companies to attain inclusive growth.

“With a team driven by shared values, vision and passion and collaboration, I am confident that our collective effort will yield significant outcomes,” Espeleta said./dcb
