Magpale, Davide show support for Toledo candidates led by Sonny Osmeña
CEBU CITY, Philippines — From the Mega Cebu Candidates Forum in Cebu City, Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale and Governor Hilario Davide III rushed to Toledo City in time for the proclamation rally organized by the local group of incumbent Mayor John Henry “Sonny” Osmeña.
With loud cheers and applause, Magpale and Davide, who are running as governor and vice governor of Cebu Province, were called on stage to join the rest of Team Alagad candidates.
The program has started when Magpale and Davide arrived at the New Toledo City Megadome in Toledo City, Cebu for Grand Proclamation Rally of Team Alagad on April 5, 2019.
Team Alagad is the local group of former Senator and incumbent Toledo City Mayor John Henry Osmena.
Incumbent Toledo City Councilor Joy Perrales, an ally of Osmeña, is running as mayor.
Osmeña is running as Cebu’s Third District Representative against Pablo John Garcia and Geraldine Yapha./dbs
