Two Indian nationals hurt in Mandaue vehicular accident

Cebu City, Philippines—Two Indian nationals were injured after they figured in a vehicular accident along A. Soriano Avenue in Mandaue City on Friday, April 19, 2019.

Initial investigation from the Traffic Management Unit (TMU) of the Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) showed that the sports utility vehicle (SUV) driven by the foreigners collided with a passenger bus past 8 p.m. Friday.

The SUV was bound for Cebu City while the bus was on its way to northern Cebu.

The driver and all the passengers of the bus were unharmed while the Indian nationals, who were a couple, were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The foreigners refused to divulge their identities to the media.

Investigators are still continuing to find out what caused the accident. / bmjo
