Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma thanked the 343 participants from calamity stricken areas in Bohol and northern Cebu for attending the local World Youth Day last Saturday.

In his message, Palma described the youth as the present and future of the church especially in evangelization. There were 3,175 participants during the 29th local World Youth Day from the archdioceses of Cebu and Bohol.

While saying that the slow pace of rehabilitation work done by the goverment is understandable, Palma said the Aquino administration should set aside partisan politics and prioritize the needs of the victims.
