ALL units of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) were ordered to help solve Sunday’s series of robberies where one of the victims was businesswoman Eleanor Rivera, a friend of Mayor Michael Rama.

The City Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Investigation and Detective Management Branch (IDMB) are helping the Theft and Robbery Section (TRS) in identifying the three men, including a minor, who shot and commandeered Rivera’s SUV and stole her P50,000 cash.

Rivera is still recuperating in a private hospital in Cebu City for a gunshot wound in the stomach. Three others were also wounded during the incident.

Chief Insp. Noli Cernio, TRS chief, said they are working for the facial composite of the three men whom he described as “local boys”.

Rama has ordered Romana to arrest the robbers the soonest possible time.

According to witnesses, one of the robbers was a 14-year-old boy while the two were in their 30s.

Aside from Rivera, the robbers also shot Julius Capuno, 38, and took his motorcycle.
