10 houses destroyed, two damaged in Mandaue

About 10 houses were destroyed while two houses were damaged by a fire that struck barangay Alang-alang of Mandaue at 1:08 pm today.

The fire was put out at 2:30 pm, Senior Fire Officer Julius Lloa said. No one was hurt. Damages to property are pegged at P260,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
