By: Norman V. Mendoza December 09,2013 - 04:29 AM

A 31-YEAR-OLD man was shot by his neighbor in barangay Baliwagan, Balamban town, Cebu.

Police said a personal grudge was the motive in the shooting of Herman Mahilum, a stay-in worker of Wild Wild West Compound.

Police said Mahilum was about to switch on the lights in the compound Saturday night when the alleged suspect Niel Torres, 19, shot him repeatedly.

A wounded Mahilum ran to his relatives for help. He was later brought to a hospital.

Torres fled after the incident but was later arrested in his girlfriend’s house, police said.
