CEBU CITY, Philippines— Single on Valentine’s?
It’s not that bad, okay? You’ll live, all you have to do is get your mind off things about D-day.
Try these things on Valentine’s day to make you feel a little less lonely and a lot busier.
Drink your fave drinks— may it be alcohol or coffee or tea or a smoothie, whatever, just drink it out.
Be with friends— if they are up for a night in or out on Valentine’s with you, go for it. Plan it out, you have more dates than most of the people on that day. Have fun.
Binge-watch— Sex and the City or Grey’s Anatomy can do the trick. Whatever you like to binge-watch on that day, do it! Pair with your favorite snack and distance from the hearts around on that day.
Stay off social media— detox on that day to make you feel less lonely. Again, your time will come and you won’t have to feel so bitter on that day, soon.
Pamper yourself— go for a massage, have your hair fixed, nails, or go shopping. This day is about loving, after all, they didn’t say you can’t love yourself a little extra today.
It does not necessarily mean that if you don’t have a partner you can’t enjoy this celebration.
Do it in ways you know you can and in ways you know would make you feel better. /rcg
