A 31-YEAR-old man was shot dead in sitio Ponce 2, barangay Carreta, Cebu City early yesterday morning.
Rowen Lobitaña, a resident of barangay T. Padilla, sustained gunshot wounds on his head and body after unidentified men shot him while he was walking in the area.
Police said Lobitaña died on the spot.
Paramedics who were called in after Lobitaña’s body was found sprawled in the middle of the road tried to revive the victim but failed.
Recovered from the area were two empty shells and two deformed slugs from a 9 mm caliber.
